There is so much information out there about dogs, dog behaviour, dog training, dog products. Less is written about the relationship between dog and owner, and how the harmony or lack thereof affects the bigger picture.
Getting the relationship right requires a combination of technical skills, and consistency/frequency of training schedules, but also a deeper understanding of how a canine mind is wired, and how to best honor and complement the differences in our species. This is a blog dedicated to that process and how it begins to take shape, from real life experiences of dogs and their owners.
